When you purchase new Bauer Vapor skates, it is important to have an accurate measurement of the length and width of your foot. A quick way to get the foot measurements is to carefully trace the outside of your foot onto a blank sheet of paper. Foot length is determined by the longest distance between toe and heel minus 1/5 of an inch. Determine width by measuring the widest point on the drawing and subtracting 1/5 of an inch. Find your length requirements with the US men's size corresponding inches to shoe size. A 9-1/3" foot takes a size 6, for instance, and an 11" foot is size 11. To determine the width of your Bauer vapor skates, you need to compare the width of your foot to the average. If, for instance, your size 6 foot is 3.5" wide, you'll take a D width.
