The blade of these hockey sticks has a face with a thin wall laminate and then a layer of foam on the inside. The laminate and foam combination provide a slightly softer face, causing the puck to stay on the blade longer for increased feel and higher puck speeds. While the blade feels stiff, it provides a large "sweet spot" for powerful shots. The shaft of the CCM Vector series consists of six layers.
